The Los Angeles 40-year-old legend, LeBron James, became the NBA’s 1st 50,000-point player.
The Lakers superstar came into the match vs. the Pelicans needing a single point to reach the goal of 50,000 combined points for his career in the regular campaign and the playoffs. LeBron secured the record on his 1st shot as he notched in the 1st quarter with 8:34 remaining to take his team’s lead to 13-6.

LeBron had 34 points, 8 boards, and 6 assists in the Lakers’ 136-115 victory. The LA has triumphed in 17 of the past 20 matches to move into 2nd in the West Conference at 39-21.
He is the NBA’s all-time leader in regular-campaign and playoffs scoring – with 41,871 points in the regular campaign and 8,162 in the postseason.
