Whatever belief the LA Lakers had that returning to Crypto com Arena would be just what the organization needed to be glorious again was put on hold when Memphis Grizzlies’ 20th 3-pointer in the 4th quarter was put on hold yesterday.
After finishing the 3rd quarter with the score evened, the Grizzlies outscored the Lakers by 14 in the 4th quarter and triumphed 127-113 to hand Los Angeles their 4th consecutive defeat.
For LeBron James, who finished with 32 points but scored only 2 from 6 tries from the foul line and had 3 turnovers in the 4th, was realistic about the current statement of the franchise.
“To be frank, we just suck right now,” LeBron admitted.
The Lakers’ struggles have gone on for weeks, going just 3-10 overall since triumphing in the in-season tournament in Las Vegas.
LeBron added that it was just 2 matches to win the championship in Las Vegas, and the Lakers can’t continue to bring up Vegas when they are not playing well.
