Liam Lawson expressed his dissatisfaction of not getting a full-time 2024 seat at the wheel of Alpha Tauri.
The youngster stepped in the place of Daniel Ricciardo as a replacement after the Aussie broke his hand in an incident during the Dutch Grand Prix.
Lawson has since then impressed and even secured Alpha Tauri best finish of the season, but still it was not enough to convince the bosses.
The New Zealander emphasized that he does not treasure finishing in front of his teammate Yuki Tsunoda at the Japanese Grand Prix.
“Not satisfaction. I want to be in the seat, and I don’t have one right now. So, it’s basically doing the best job I can each time I get in the car, and I’ll basically keep doing that for as long as I am driving.” he said.
“Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough, and I think neither of us had the pace to make the top 10. I’m still trying to score points for the team and prove myself every time I get in the car, and I think I did that today.”
