The debut of Damian Lillard for his new franchise went well but things were different in the Bucks’ 127-110 defeat to the Atlanta Hawks as that shows us that Milwaukee’s new roster is still a work in progress.
Dame scored only 6 points and finished 2-for-12 from the field with 6 turnovers. After notching 39 points in his debut, the guard finished with the largest negative point differential (-33) between a player’s 1st and 2nd matches with an organization in the league’s history.

“We’re still getting to know each other,” Dame admitted after the defeat. “It’s a step of when I do have a start like this or have a match like this, how to did it without the possession of the ball?”
Lillard added that the game vs. Hawks was just his 2nd match as a Bucks player and that as he appeared in more clashes with his teammates, they will get better during the season.
