Lindelof’s goal secures Man Utd minimum win vs. Luton

Much more was expected from Erik ten Hag’s side at home against Luton, but Manchester United won only 1-0; if we look for positives, that was their 4^th victory in their last 5 Premier League matches as they only lost from Manchester City during that period.

Manchester United climbed to the 6^th place in the Premier League after today’s victory with 21 points after 12 games as they are only 1 point behind 5^th Aston Villa.

Luton is in 17^th place with 6 points after 12 matches and after the heroics against Liverpool last week, the newly-promoted club was close to leaving Old Trafford undefeated, but Lindelof spoiled it.

Erik ten Hag is the first manager to win 30 of his first 50 league games in charge of Manchester United.
