The Reds finished the match with 10 men after Mac Allister's direct red card in the 2nd half.

Liverpool won against Bournemouth 3-1 at Anfield in a match from week 2 of the Premier League.

Antoine Semenyo scored in the 3rd minute after Dominic Solanke’s assist to give the lead to Bournemouth. However, Liverpool made a comeback before the end of the 1st half after Luis Diaz netted a beautiful bicycle kick in the 28th minute. Mohamed Salah missed a penalty in the 36th minute but scored the rebound into an empty net.

Alexis Mac Allister received a direct red card in the 58th minute for roughing. When everyone expected that the away team would have a chance to try to tie the match, Diogo Jota scored 4 minutes later to make Liverpool’s lead 3-1.

The new signing from Stuttgart, Wataru Endo made his debut for the Reds in the 63rd minute as he entered in the place of Cody Gakpo.

The Reds will play away from home against Newcastle next week, while Bournemouth will face Swansea after 3 days in a 1/32 finals matchup in the EFL Cup.
