According to reports, the Dutchman had already agreed personal terms with the Reds, so it was only a matter of agreement between the two clubs.
Gravenberch has been dissatisfied with the Bavarians as he struggled to break into the first squad and now he has a chance to shine at Anfield.
It is believed Jurgen Klopp is keen admirer of Gravenberch’s style of play as the German aims to reinforce his squad after the departure of key figures in midfield over the summer.
The 21-year-old becomes Liverpool’s fourth major signing in midfield, following the footsteps of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo.
