The initial fee would have been £100m with £50m in add-ons.
The Reds have made their position clear that Salah is not for sale and is up to the striker if he wishes to leave the club.
The 31-year-old signed a new three-year contract with the team last summer and according to his manager Jurgen Klopp is fully committed to Anfield.
“The position remains the same. Absolutely no doubt about that. That’s how it is. Nothing else to say,” said Klopp.
The might be signs for concern for the Reds as the transfer window closes on September 7 in Saudi Arabia and clubs from their might try to lure their star player.
