The Reds will not sign the Eagles defender as the deal fell through.

Liverpool will not ink the Eagles star in defense, Marc Guehi, as the transfer has fallen through.

Everything was agreed between the two Premier League clubs as the Reds would have paid at least 35 million pounds to Crystal Palace for Guehi.

The defender was allowed by the Eagles to have his medical tests in the English capital today, and it was considered that everything else was formalities before Marc would have inked a long-term deal with Liverpool.

However, now it has become clear that the move will not happen. The Eagles refused to sell the defender in the last minute as they didn’t find a replacement, as the defender that they wanted, Igor Julio, signed with West Ham.

Crystal Palace inked a defender today as they bought Jaydee Canvot from Toulouse, but the directors of the London club wanted to sign 2 defenders before selling Marc, and that didn’t happen, so they decided not to sell him.

Guehi will now return to the Eagles as he has been shining since the beginning of the campaign, and now we will see if the defender will be motivated to keep the same level after his failed transfer in the last moment to the Premier League champions.
