Freddie Ljungberg stated his opinion about Arsenal’s chances of clinching the Premier League title this year.
The Swede doesn’t believe the Gunners have enough to end their 20-year drought, but says the seem the best bet for Manchester City’s nearest rival.
Ljungberg’s main concern is the lack of goals from Arsenal’s front line – Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus all have a lower goal ratio than 2022-23. And the 46-year-old believes that it will become a serious issue as the season progresses.

“I think definitely they’re ready to challenge for the title,” he said.
“But the stats here are quite telling and I don’t think they work in their favor,”
His opinion was backed by Jamie Garragher, who acknowledged that Arsenal have improved in defense, but seem to be lacking in other areas, despite going top after 1-0 win over Brentford.
