The Bruins forward will be arraigned tomorrow for the charges.

Boston Bruins player Milan Lucic will be arraigned Tuesday on a charge of assault and battery vs. a family or household member, the court announced today.

The NHL franchise from Boston admitted during the weekend that Lucic is taking an indefinite leave of absence from the organization after he was involved in an undisclosed incident a few days ago.

The team did not share details about the situation that forced them to give him an indefinite leave other than they will follow closely what will happen and take the matter very seriously. Bruins added that they will help Milan’s family and help them in any way possible.

The Bruins forward (35) has appeared in more than 1,300 matches in the league with his current organization, the Kings, Oilers, and Flames. Lucic triumphed with the Stanley Cup in 2011 as part of Boston and is back with the franchise after inking a 1-year free agent deal last summer.
