PSG manager Luis Enrique has expressed his hope that the club can reach an agreement with Kylian Mbappe, who has refused to extend his contract and is currently on the lookout for a new team.
Mbappe is not training with the first squad and that has caused major disturbence between players and team members.
The French giants are keen on selling Mbappe before next summer, when he will become free agent.
“I hope that the club and the player will find an agreement,” said Enrique.
The 24-year-old has expressed his desire to play for Real Madrid, but that may not be possible before 2024.
He also refused to meet with representatives of Saudi club Al-Hilal, who made a record-breaking 300 million euro bid for him.
Mbappe was left out of PSG’s touring squad for their pre-season trip to Asia.
PSG begin the defense of their Ligue 1 title on Saturday against Lorient and it is still unknown what the future holds for Mbappe.
