Slovenian national basketball team star Luka Doncic expressed his outrage at the referees after the 89-100 loss to Canada in the World Cup quarter-finals. The leader of the Slovenians complained about the lack of fouls against him and the treatment of the referees. Doncic himself was ejected with two technical fouls for reactions.
“Everyone knows what I’m disappointed about. When I play for the national team, I show a lot of emotions. Most of the time I don’t manage to control myself, so I get into a lot of trouble. One of the referees told my teammate that he couldn’t give me a foul because I reacted too angrily. I don’t think that’s fair at all. I know I complain a lot about the referees, but it’s not fair,” Doncic said.

“On the other hand, I have to admit that Dylan Brooks played great. He was very physical in defense as he always does. A lot of people don’t like him, but I respect him for what he does because he does it well,” he added.
