Aryna Sabalenka reached the semifinals of the US Open as the Belarus top tennis player easily won her quarterfinal match against China’s Qinwen Zheng 6:1, 6:4 in 74 minutes of play.
Sabalenka dominated from the start and won the first five games, closing the first part at6:1. In the second set, the Chinese was more equal from the other side of the court, but after a break in the seventh game, Sabalenka led 4:3 and won the match after 6:4 in her second match point.

In the semi-finals, Sabalenka, second in the ranking, will face the winner of the clash between Marketa Vondrousova (Czech Republic) and Madison Keys (USA).
