Mac McClung made history by becoming the first player ever to win three consecutive NBA All-Star Dunk Contest titles. Despite playing just five games in the league, the high-flying guard outshined Matas Bouzelis (Chicago), Stefan Castle (San Antonio), and Andre Jackson (Milwaukee) to secure the victory.
McClung electrified the crowd from the start, leaping over a parked Kia under the basket to earn a perfect 50 on his first dunk. His second attempt also received a flawless score, sending him to the final round.
In the finals, he faced Castle, delivering two more dunks with perfect ratings. One of his standout moves involved scoring two baskets in a single attempt, while another saw him bounce the ball off the front of the rim before slamming it home.
Castle also impressed with a perfect 50 on his last dunk, but his previous score of 49.6 left him just short of McClung’s total.
