Yokohama scored the 1st goal in the 27th minute by Anderson Lopes. Only ten minutes later, the Japanese team shocked the Premier League champion with a 2nd goal as defender Ken Matsubara netted after Katsuya Nagato’s assist.
However, the treble champions from England bounced back with 2 goals in the final minutes of the half to tie the match. John Stones scored in the 40th minute after Julian Alvarez’s assist, and 3 minutes later, after a huge mistake by Yokohama’s goalkeeper Jun Ichimori, Julian Alvarez scored in an empty net.

Erling Haaland entered at half-time, and after only 7 minutes on the pitch, he scored after Foden’s assist to give the Sky Blues the 1st lead in the match. Rodri made it 4-2 for Guaridola’s side with a phenomenal shot in the 72nd minute.
Kenta Inoue netted for the Japanese team in the 86th minute after a big mistake in the City’s defense which allowed the player to be alone against the goalkeeper, and he scored.
However, in the extra time, Haaland scored his 2nd goal to secure the victory for his side.
