The other Turkey team that wanted the midfielder were Galatasaray, as Fulham also were keen to ink Fred and keep him in the Premier League.
Fred’s deal with Manchester United is set to expire in 12 months, so now is the perfect opportunity for the Red Devils to receive a transfer fee for him and not lose him as a free agent next summer.
In the past campaign, the Brazilian midfielder was a big part of the Manchester United squad. He played 56 matches in all tournaments and scored 6 goals as the Red Devils finished 3rd in the league and will play in the Champions League group stage next month.
