Man United announces departing players

English Premier League side Manchester United have confirmed in an official announcement that Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe are leaving the club as free agents.

Other young Red Devils players have also been released. Manchester United also confirm that talks with goalkeeper David De Gea over a potential new contract remain open and the possibility of him staying is still on.

Obviously, however, the negotiations between the two sides are not going well.

Mason Greenwood is on the list of players who remain under contract with Manchester United. An Internal club investigation is underway against him, although rape charges against the footballer were dropped.
