Signing in a new center-back is already a top priority for Manchester United. The Red Devils have been struggling defensively since the start of this campaign, with several key players injured. That is why at Old Trafford they are already looking for new additions in this position, claims transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
According to him, it will be difficult for the Red Devils to sign a quality new player in January, with the main reason for this being the Financial Fair Play rules that the club must comply with. They will look for an option with attracting a player on loan, but this will not be particularly easy either. United bosses are more likely to focus their efforts on the summer transfer window.
They already have several names in the club. First on the list is Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo, but apart from him, the club is also monitoring 19-year-old Antonio Silva from Benfica, as well as 22-year-old Gonzalo Inacio from Sporting Lisbon.
