The Red Devils are in desperate need of a forward and that has forced Erik Ten Hag into looking for every option for the upcoming January transfer window.

No offer, nor negotiations have yet been made, but the Old Trafford team is closely monitoring Werner’s situation.

It is believed that Werner is not entirely happy with his place at Salzburg and United will be looking to pounce on that.

Ten Hag desperately needs to strengthen his front line as all of his strikers have struggled for goals this campaign. Rasmus Hojlund is yet to find the back of the net in the Premier League and the addition of Werner will give him the much needed backup.
