Liverpool and Manchester United finished without goals – 0:0 at Anfield, and the Reds are no longer at the top of the Premier League as Arsenal overtook them earlier today.
Nothing really interesting happened in the 1st half as Klopp’s side had dominance, but the only thing they could take from that was corners as they had 9 and their opponent 0.

In the 2nd half, Liverpool continued to be the dominant team, but despite that, Manchester United had fantastic chances at counterattack to score but missed them. In the extra time, Diogo Dalot received 2 yellow cards within seconds for yelling at the referees as the defender demanded the throw-in to be for his team, but the only thing he got was a sent-off.
The Reds attacked a few times with 1 player more on the pitch but didn’t have a chance to score.
18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo had only played two Premier League matches this season before Man United’s match vs. Liverpool.
He started for United at Anfield in a midfield without Bruno Fernandes and put in another impressive performance.
