Manchester City has become the most expensive soccer club in the world, according to British financial consultancy Brand Finance.
The total value of the English champion is estimated at 1.51 billion euros with a specially prepared methodology, which is an increase of 13% compared to last year. Thus, Manchester City displaced Real Madrid at the top after four consecutive years. The Spanish side lost 4% of its value to 1.46 billion euros.

In third place is the 2022/23 La Liga champion Barcelona with €1.37 billion, followed by two other leading English clubs Manchester United and Liverpool, who have a similar value of around €1.36 billion. French champions Paris Saint-Germain saw an increase of 10 % and climbs to sixth place with 1.13 billion euros, ahead of the German Bayern (Munich), which loses a percentage of its value and is now seventh with 1.1 billion euros.
