Manchester City clinched arguably their most important win in this Premier League season beating title-contender Arsenal 4-1 at home and the future of the crown is in their hands. The reigning champion is currently two points behind the Gunners, but have a game in hand, which can send Pep Guardiola’s men point clear on the top of the table.
The Citizens kicked-off guns loaded and could’ve gotten a penalty inside the first 2 minutes, but Michael Oliver decided not to make the call. In the 7 minutes Haaland sent the ball in De Bruyne’s path, the playmaker stretched his legs to open up some space and fired a shot from outside the box, leaving Ramsdale no chance to react.

City continued to be the dominant side on the pitch, but Haaland made two big misses. Right before the break John Stones collected a cross from a free kick and headed it into the goal. At first the linesman showed there is an offside, but VAR checked the situation and stated Stones is onside and the goal stood.

Four minutes before full time Arsenal pulled one back through Holding, who got the ball around the penalty spot and fired it in the right side of the goal.
Right at the end Haaland got his goal for the night after receiving the ball in the box and made no mistake with his left foot.
