English side Manchester United won 3-1 against West Ham in Wednesday nigh FA Cup clash at Old Trafford. The Red Devils managed a comeback as they were 0-1 down after 77 minutes.
The home side had a chance to take the lead inside six minutes, as Marcel Sabitzer took a shot from the edge of the box, but Areola stopped him with a beautiful save.
Four minutes before the break Garnacho was also close to opening the score, but he sent the ball over the bar.
Second half started with a miraculous save from David De Gea, who stopped a glancing header from Tomas Soucek towards the left corner. West Ham grabbed their chance in the 54 minute. Mohamed Bahrama scored as he latched on to a pass and unleashed a perfect strike from the edge of the box, leaving De Gea no chance.
In the 72 minute Casemiro thought he tied the game, but his goal was ruled out for offside. Just five minutes later United got their equalizer. Weghorst shot the ball and Aguerd deflected it in his own net for 1-1.
Seven minutes before full-time Casemiro had an opportunity to score second goal, but Areola made a solid save. Man United got their winner in the last minute of regular time. The ball rebounded and arrived at the feet of Alejandro Garnacho just outside the box. He fired a great shot into the bottom right corner and scored.
Right before the final whistle Fred also got his name on the scoresheet as he was found by Weghorst in the penalty area and sent the ball in the middle of the goal.
