The Red Devils marched on to a 2-0 victory

Manchester United were triumphant 2-0 in their clash against Nottingham Forrest on Sunday.

The Red Devils looked the more persistent team as they created the more meaningful chances and their efforts were rewarded with Anthony 32nd minute strike after Keylor Navas stopped Martial’s shot.

The 2nd half was even more dominant for United as they ambushed the home team’s goal and only the brilliance of Navas kept the score 0-1. However in the 76th minute the inevitable happened as Diogo Dalot was put on goal with a great through ball from Anthony and the Portuguese kept his nerve and doubled United’s lead.

From then onwards the match was pretty much decided as Ten Hag’s men opted for a much tamer way to close the match in the last minutes.

With this win the team from Old Trafford climbs up to 3rd in the League as Newcastle succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday. Tottenham Hotspur also came short after shockingly losing to Bournemouth 3-2.
