Jonathan Marchessault wasted no time, finding the net just 19 seconds into the game, and Adin Hill’s stellar performance with 20 saves propelled the Vegas Golden Knights to a 3-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night.
The Golden Knights dominated the early minutes with goals from Marchessault, Nicolas Hague, and Chandler Stephenson within the first 6:17. This win extends Vegas’ impressive run, with seven victories in their last nine games, earning points in eight of those matchups.
Despite a spirited effort from the Coyotes, who saw goals from Jason Zucker and Clayton Keller, their return to the ice after a hiatus since January 27 resulted in a fourth consecutive loss.
Adin Hill’s goaltending prowess continued to shine, boasting a 4-0 record and surrendering only seven goals since his return from a lower-body injury on December 17. Hill has triumphed in seven of his last eight starts, with the sole exception being an overtime loss. Notably, Hill notched 19 wins in 49 games during his tenure with the Coyotes from 2018-2021.
Connor Ingram, tending the net for the Coyotes, conceded the Knights’ three goals before being replaced by Karel Vejmelka, who stepped in and made 28 saves to conclude the game.
