The Serbia international forward was not part of Fulham’s team in their 3-0 loss to Brentford today, having expressed intention to leave the club during the current transfer window.
Mitrovic will become Neymar’s teammate in his new team in Saudi Arabia after the Brazil international joined Al-Hilal a few days ago from PSG.
“Aleksandar is on the way to leave Fulham. I got information from the side after the game,” Marco shared in his interview after today’s Premier League fixture.
“Both teams have got an agreement, and now it’s the moment where it is time to stop talking about Mitrovic, as he is not part of our squad anymore.”
The London club will receive 64 million dollars from the Saudi Arabian team for the Serbian striker, who finished with 14 goals in the past Premier League campaign.
