Manchester United’s striker Anthony Martial is set to miss Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester City with a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old sustained the injury in United’s 2-1 win over Fulham in the last day of the Premier League season.
Martial did stay on the pitch, but medical tests afterwards have shown that he has suffered a torn muscle.
His injury is yet another blow to Erik Ten Hag, who will be missing couple of key figures.
Martial has put up a string of good performances of late and his absence will most certainly be felt.
Victory in the final will ensure the Red Devils a domestic double having already clinched the League Cup in February. But defeating City would also mean the Red Devils get to preserve their record as the only English club, who has successfully achieved the Treble back in 1998-99 season.
