Former F1 driver and current TV pundit Martin Brundle has called on Ferrari star Charles Leclerc to “stop making so many mistakes” after another weekend in which the Scuderia found itself far from the front.
Leclerc crashed twice in three days, first spinning on Friday at turns 7 and 8, and again in qualifying when he went off the track in almost the same spot. In the race, Leclerc finished 7th.

Leclerc’s errors at Ferrari have been piling up, from qualifying in Baku in 2019 to the blow in Monaco in 2021 that saw him sit out the race to the error in France that saw him fall well behind in the title race.
“Charles damaged an awful lot of components and deprived his team of opportunities,” Brundle told Sky Sports F1. “Leclerc is faster than all the other drivers, he might be the fastest when I’m talking about pure speed, but he doesn’t know where the limit is.”
