Martin Tyler leaves Sky Sports

Martin Tyler will quit Sky Sports after the soccer commentator spent 33 years with the channel.

Martin (77) is one of the most prominent worldwide voices in soccer and has been the top Sky Sports commentator for the Premier League since its establishment in 1992.

“It’s been an honor to play a small part in the broadcasting history of the best soccer league in the world,” Tyler claimed.

“I have the opportunity to work with top professionals in all aspects of the TV industry.”

Martin added: “I’m grateful for their support and expertise. It has been a privilege to be part of this amazing team.”

Tyler is not retiring but will not continue his career at Sky Sports.
