He will split next season between Minnesota and the team's G-League affiliate the Iowa Wolves.

Guard Matt Ryan has signed a new contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, for whom he played last season and will continue with the team for the upcoming campaign.

The 26-year-old was a free agent, but received an offer from Wolves for a two-way contract, which he accepted. That means the player will split next season between Minnesota and the team’s G-League affiliate the Iowa Wolves.

In his NBA career, which began in 2022, Ryan also played for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers.

In 34 games last season, Ryan averaged 3.6 points and 0.8 rebounds on 34 percent shooting from three-point range.
