Real Madrid defeated Dallas Mavericks 127-123 in a friendly match played in Madrid ahead of the start of the new basketball season in the Euroleague and NBA respectively.
The game was a return for Mavericks star Luka Doncic, who burst onto the scene in Madrid. Florentino Perez, president of the football club Real Madrid, was also present at the arena.
The victory for the Spaniards was forged in the last quarter, which was won by them by 13 points. It should be noted that the season for Real in their home league has already started, while the American team’s pre-season training started last week.
Tim Hardaway Jr. was the top scorer in the match with 21 points, while Facundo Campazzo led the Spanish team with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists.
