He follows his father's footsteps who played for Toronto between 1995 and 2006

Forward Max Domi signed a contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs, the club announced.

The contract is for one year and is worth $3 million.

Domi’s father, Ty Domi, played for Toronto between 1995 and 2006. Max previously played for the Arizona Coyotes, Montreal Canadiens, Columbus Blue Jackets, Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars.

Max Domi is another new addition to Toronto after forward Tyler Bertuzzi, defenseman John Klingberg and right winger Ryan Reaves. Last season, as a Dallas player, he recorded two goals and five assists in 20 games.
