Kylian Mbappe is at the center of a drama as he entered the derby against Atletico Madrid from the bench and didn’t perform well, as he was criticized by the media in Spain.
However, now seems like there is an explanation for the poor performance of the French superstar, as Kylian is reportedly furious with Los Blancos’ medical staff over a huge error in the assessment of his knee problem.
Real Madrid’s medical team examined Kylian’s knee and declared him fit and made him available to head coach Álvaro Arbeloa.
But there was a huge mistake: the Royal club doctors apparently examined the wrong knee – the right one – while the other one was causing discomfort to the French forward. This would explain why Mbappe played so badly during his time on the pitch in the derby.
Kylian’s campaign is very good until now, as he has 23 goals and 4 assists in 24 LaLiga matches, while the French superstar has also scored 9 goals and given 1 assist in 13 UCL games. He also scored twice in the Super Cup game, while failing to score only in his single game in the Copa del Rey before Real Madrid were eliminated.
🚨JUST IN: Real Madrid reportedly diagnosed Kylian Mbappé's WRONG KNEE when he first got injured.
They checked his non-injured knee, found nothing wrong, and told him to keep playing.
