Kylian Mbappé claimed European football’s increasingly busy schedule is starting to mirror the National Basketball Association campaign, and he added that the effects of basketball-style load management could be seen soon here, too.

The French superstars claimed such practices could create a wedge between footballers, clubs, and fans who watch the matches from the stadiums. Mbappe appeared in 63 matches in the past campaign for PSG and his national team.
“We’re getting closer to the NBA way, with campaigns of 70 matches,” Kylian shared. ” I’m not against playing that many games, but won’t be able to show 100% each time and give the supporters the spectacle they want.
“In the National Basketball Association, players don’t play every match, and organizations use load management. But if I admit: ‘I’m tired, I’m not ready for our next match,’ it would be very bad.
“The fan who pays for his ticket and who may only see you 1 time during the campaign expects to see the best of you, and that’s totally right.”
