French superstar Kylian Mbappe is preparing for his move to Real Madrid next summer as a free agent when his two-year contract with PSG comes to an end. He personally apologized to the president of Real – Florentino Perez for the failed transfer last summer.
Last year, Mbappe signed a new two-year deal with an option for a third season with PSG after changing his mind within 48 hours and canceling a previously agreed free-agent move to Real Madrid. The move left Mbappe feeling guilty for lying to Perez and Real.
According to media reports in Spain, Perez immediately accepted the apology as he does not deviate from his plan to bring one of the two biggest talents Mbappe or Erling Haaland to Santiago Bernabeu. The very fact that next summer Mbappe will be free and available is an opportunity that Real Madrid will not miss a second time.
