Kylian Mbappé has labeled Cristiano Ronaldo as “unique” ahead of his country’s ¼ final match with Portugal tomorrow, revealing that he and the superstar are in contact regularly.

Mbappé’s fandom of Cristiano is known by every football fan around the world, with the French captain having published a picture of him meeting the Portuguese legend at the Madrid training ground in 2012 when Ronaldo had just joined Los Blancos from Manchester United.
Speaking with reporters today ahead of the clash in Hamburg, Kylian shared of Ronaldo: “It will be an honor, everyone knows how much I respect Cristiano. Ronaldo is still a legend and we keep in touch but of course I hope that we will eliminate them on Friday.
“We must appreciate who Cristiano is and what he has achieved — Ronaldo is a unique footballer. His resume says more than enough.”
Kylian added that he don’t want to replicate Cristiano at Los Blancos and want to write his own story with Real Madrid.
