Like a fantastic baseball game, San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey has avoided discussing his streak of straight matches scoring a TD. However, he will be questioned to speak about that again after today’s match.
The reason for that is that he made history vs. the Cincinnati Bengals at Levi’s Stadium, scoring a TD in his 17th straight clash. That evens him with Lenny Moore, the Baltimore Colts Hall of Fame RB, for the longest streak in the league’s history. Moore did it over the 1963 and 1964 campaigns.
Christian McCaffrey has now scored TDs in 17 straight games, including playoffs.

The record-tying TD came with a little more than 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter when the 49ers running back netted from 2 yards out. It was his 12th TD from scrimmage this campaign, tying him with Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert for most in the National Football League.
