Christian McCaffrey is one of the extraordinary RB. He performed at the highest level since his 1st years in the NFL when he had a very low salary. After that, however, he got a very lucrative contract.
McCaffrey’s 16-million-dollar contract, signed after only 3 years in the league, is not the common treatment of running backs. Instead, it’s something that he wants to happen a lot more in the future.
“I notice how Saquon Barkley contributes to the New York Giants, and I see what Josh Jacobs contributes to the Las Vegas Raiders, all these RB in the NFL who have been very crucial for their franchises.
They’ve been doing all the important things on the field; they create opportunities and make defensive coordinators think, which is one of the most important things for their team to win.”
Christian thinks NFL must find a way for the rookie RB to receive more funds because they can’t negotiate until the 1st 3 years in the league have passed.
