McDavid 1st player in almost 30 years to hit 150 points

The star of the Edmonton Oilers got 150 points in the victory against San Jose Sharks on Saturday when he scored and assisted. Connor McDavid is the 1^st in 27 years to have such a record in a season in NHL.

The last time an NHL player finished with at least 150 points was in 95-96 when Mario Lemieux had 161 points at the end of the season.

Only 5 more players had such an achievement – Wayne Gretzky (9 times), Lemieux (4 times), Phil Esposito, Steve Yzerman, and Bernie Nichols.
