Medvedev beats Zapata Miralles 2-1 sets in Rome

Daniil Medvedev, world number 3, won against Bernabe Zapata Miralles, world number 38 (3-6, 6-1, 6-3), and advanced to the 1/8 finals at the Rome Masters.

The Spaniard won the 1^st set 6-3 after breaking his Russian opponent twice. However, Medvedev dominated in the 2^nd set and won it 6-1 after converting 2 breakpoints, but also Daniil saved 4 breaks and didn’t allow the tennis player from Spain to break him.
