Medvedev tops Tsitsipas in straight sets and reaches the Rome final

Daniil Medvedev, world number 3, who won his 1^st game in the Italian Open in this edition, eliminated Stefanos Tsitsipas, world number 5, 2:0 sets (7-5, 7-5) and will play for the trophy in the Rome Masters.

Both sets were identical as Daniil broke his opponent’s serve twice, as the Greek converted only 1 break. Stefanos served in the 1^st and 2nd set to make it 6-5 for him, but Medvedev won both times.
