Messi can play his first game for Inter Miami on July 21

Inter Miami will have the opportunity to have Lionel Messi in their starting roster on July 21 for their League Cup clash vs. Cruz Azul, owner Jorge Mas shared with the media.

The Argentinian superstar claimed he is considering joining Inter Miami after his contract with PSG expired, but he has yet to ink his deal officially.

The owner also said that the Floridian club would not receive a direct subsidy from the league and that no rules were modified for Leo Messi to be able to sign with the team.
