After all of the details are agreed upon between Leo and Inter Miami, the contract will be sent to MLS for a green light.
Despite the rumors in the past few weeks that Messi is unhappy in the MLS and will try to leave after his deal expires, now the 2 parties want to continue their relationship as Lionel is happy both on and off the pitch.
The Argentinian superstar inked with Inter Miami during the summer 2 years ago, as his deal was for 2 and a half seasons and will expire at the end of the year.
In 2025, Leo has appeared in 36 matches with the Floridian team and had 28 goals and 14 assists in all tournaments, as Messi is the Inter Miami’s leading goal scorer at the moment.
