Inter Miami and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi revealed interesting details about the days following the World Cup in Qatar, where he was instrumental in the South Americans’ third world title.
The 36-year-old spoke to Olga TV, detailing his stay at Paris Saint-Germain, which ran from the summer of 2021 to the summer of 2023.
“So it happened, the reality there was not what I expected, but I always say that things happen for a reason and even though I say it was not good there, I should have been a world champion there. Everything happens for a reason and if it was meant to be, I found out later,” explained Messi about his stay in Paris.

Likewise, Messi assured that he fully understood the tension felt in Paris after Argentina’s title, as it was the French national team that was defeated in the final in Qatar: “It was understandable, I was in the country that could make the final and because of us they weren’t world champions again and I was the only champion who didn’t get recognized by the club.”, he added.
