The Reds found themselves trailing early on, but managed to turn the things around

Liverpool made a comeback win to prevail 3-1 against LASK in their first Europa League group stage game.

The home side scored first in the 14 minute by Florian Flecker. He picked up a cross from a corner kick and fired a great shot from the edge of the box.

In the 37 minute Darwin Nunez had a golden chance from levelling matters, but his header was miraculously saved by Lawal.

Just ten minutes after the break Marco Di Bello awarded a penalty for Liverpool after Philipp Ziereis’s pull in the box. VAR checked the play and the referee decided to stick with his original decision.

Darwin Nunez took the responsibility and made up for his miss earlier on to make it 1-1.

A little over an hour of play Gravenberch found Diaz with a wonderful pass and the winger made the comeback complete. The final scoreline was rounded up by Mohamed Salah with a great strike from inside the penalty area.
