Alexis Mac Allister will almost certainly leave Anfield very soon as the side starts planning for a significant overhaul of their midfield players. The Argentinian, who has been a standout performer in the current campaign, has shared his frustration at the lack of a new deal offer despite his commitment to the club.
The Reds are planning offloading Alexis after the end of the campaign. Despite his contract being until 2028, Mac Allister doesn’t receive an extension offer, and selling him in the summer seems the most logical thing that will happen.
Mac Allister has been playing well since the start of the season, having 4 goals in 12 games in all tournaments. The Argentinian form has led to expectations of an extension, particularly after Alexis turned down the chance to leave the Reds in the summer.
Despite the fact that the Argentinian is in form and wants to continue his career with Liverpool, the team’s hierarchy has opted against offering him a fresh deal and will try to sell him while he is still under contract.
🚨 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: Liverpool are currently preparing a renewal offer for Alexis Mac Allister.
They want to secure his future amid interest from Real Madrid, City and Atléti.
