Lionel entered from the bench but netted to double his team’s lead.

Leo Messi needed just a moment for his phenomenal skills to shine, a beautiful segment that will be remembered in his MLS 1st game.

The Argentinian superstar’s beautiful goal in the 89th minute secured the Inter Miami 2-0 win against the New York Red Bulls. It ended 11 straight games in the Major League Soccer without a victory for the Floridian side.

“I just catch myself watching Messi instead of worrying about what I need to do on the pitch,” Inter’s defender Kamal Miller shared after the game. “It’s not easy to stay focused when you have such a phenomenal teammate.”

Leo started from the bench, and the head coach put him in the game after an hour, along with ex-Barca teammate Sergio Busquets. His team was leading during that time 1-0 after Diego Gómez netted in the 1st half, and with his goal, Messi secured the win in the final minutes.
