Miami Dolphins LB Jaelan Phillips has suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the campaign, manager Mike McDaniel confirmed today.
Jaelan left yesterday’s 34-13 victory against the NY Jets after he went down with the noncontact problem late in the 4th quarter. The linebacker was carted off from the field.

Phillips’ inability to play more this season led to increased roles for linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel, who has 4 sacks this campaign, and DE Emmanuel Ogbah, who had 18 total sacks in 2020 and 2021 before inking a 65 million dollar deal in 2022.
“You can’t replace Jaelan Phillips,” the Dolphins boss shared today. “But you can have players ready to give their best, step up, and get his production. We are happy we have great players who can play at the highest level.
