Miami Dolphins RB De’Von Achane will be on the field at the end of the weekend in the upcoming match vs. the Washington Commanders, manager Mike McDaniel shared today, giving the organization its 2nd-leading rusher.
Achane missed his franchise’s victory against the NY Jets in Week 12 after aggravating his knee problem a week ago when he returned to face the Las Vegas Raiders. The rookie had spent over a month on injured reserve after sustaining his knee problem in Week 5.
The 3rd-round selection has rushed for 461 yards and has 7 total TDs in 5 matches this campaign, averaging the league-high almost 12 yards per carry. De’Von’s return should give Miami a potent tandem with Raheem Mostert, whose 785 rushing yards and 13 TDs rank 2nd and 1st in the National Football League, respectively.
Dolphins head coach didn’t share if safety Jevon Holland will be able to play on Sunday.
